Compound Turbo Bespoke Wiring Harness

We didn’t have long to complete this one. With a tight deadline and a workshop full of other projects, we managed to turn the entire installation around in just a week.

On a compound turbo setup like this, there’s no shortage of inputs to manage. Between dual back-pressure sensors, dual lambda sensors, dual boost sensors, turbo speed monitoring, electronic throttle control, MAF, flex-fuel, dual CAN networks, and integrating an 8HP gearbox with an aftermarket shifter, there’s a huge amount happening behind the scenes.

To make things even more challenging, this is a 2010+ Audi A5 that still retains all of its factory comforts. The interior, heater system and OEM equipment all remain in place, meaning available space for mounting ECUs, modules and wiring is incredibly limited.

Despite the packaging constraints and tight turnaround, we’re really pleased with the end result. The finished loom is compact, serviceable and flexible, integrating seamlessly into the car while looking as though it could have left the factory that way.
