Maintenance, upgrades and restoration.
ASD carries out mechanical installation, repair and refurbishment work with careful attention to the condition of the vehicle as a whole. From suspension and braking upgrades to drivetrain work, servicing and underside restoration, the aim is to complete each job cleanly and properly.
More than replacing parts.
Mechanical work often reveals more than the original fault or upgrade. Worn fixings, tired bushes, corrosion and previous repairs can all affect how a job should be approached.
We take the time to inspect the surrounding area, explain anything that needs attention and complete the work with the long-term condition of the vehicle in mind.

Mechanical work across the whole vehicle.
From routine maintenance to larger refurbishment work, the workshop can support individual repairs, planned upgrades and longer-term projects.

Replacement and upgrade work for the chassis and driveline.
Restoration & Aftermarket Installation

Built to stay that way.
Older vehicles often need more than new components. Corrosion, damaged coatings, seized hardware and tired brackets can all be addressed while the vehicle is apart.
Depending on the scope of the job, underside work can include:

Every job starts with the vehicle in front of us.
The age, condition and previous history of a vehicle can change the scope of workshop work considerably. Send us the vehicle details, photographs and the work you have in mind. We will confirm whether it is suitable and discuss the likely next steps before booking it in.
Common workshop questions.
Send us the details if your job is not covered below. We will confirm whether it is suitable for the workshop.
Do you undertake general servicing?
Yes. We can carry out servicing and preventative maintenance where the vehicle and work are suitable for the workshop.
Do you fit customer-supplied parts?
Sometimes. We will need to confirm the brand, condition and suitability of the parts before agreeing to fit them.
Can you fit aftermarket suspension?
Yes. This can include dampers, springs, coilovers, suspension arms, bushes and polybushes, depending on the vehicle and condition of the existing components.
Do you undertake underside restoration?
Yes, depending on the extent of the corrosion and the scope of the project. Photographs are useful when making the initial enquiry.
Can you inspect the vehicle before quoting?
Yes. For larger, older or restoration-related work, an inspection may be needed before an accurate scope can be agreed.
Tell us about your vehicle.
Include the make and model, the work required, any parts already purchased and clear photographs where relevant. We will review the information and advise on the next step.
