Common questions.
Answers about our services, bookings and workshop.
As a guide, clubsport wiring looms are typically around 2–3 weeks. Full motorsport engine or chassis harnesses are commonly around 1–2 months depending on design work, complexity, component choice, fitment and current workload.
Our workshop specialises in standalone engine management, wiring and associated electronics, so we do not currently offer diesel remapping.
Our calibration work is focused on standalone engine management systems rather than standard factory ECUs.
An OEM ECU is the factory engine control unit designed around the original vehicle, emissions systems and standard hardware. A standalone ECU is an aftermarket motorsport/performance ECU that gives much greater control over engine management, sensors, boost control, safety strategies, data logging and custom setups.
We can sometimes carry out servicing where it is directly connected to other work already being completed by us. We do not currently operate as a general servicing or repair garage.
Costs vary depending on the scope and complexity of the work. Wiring, installation and calibration are quoted according to the time, parts and outside facilities required. Send us an overview of the project and we can advise on the likely next step.
Lead times vary throughout the year and depend heavily on the type of job. Smaller jobs may sometimes fit into gaps sooner, while larger projects such as full engine and chassis harnesses require more planning and can take longer to allocate a suitable slot.
Yes, typically we take a deposit to secure the booking. This may cover parts so they can be ordered, held and allocated to your build, or it may be a small booking deposit credited to your account and deducted from the final bill. This helps us manage the workshop calendar properly.
